Event details

6 July 2013 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Keith Noble's course starts indoors with an introduction to the life of dragonflies, and a picture show of those likely to be seen in Gwent. There will be a hand out with a printed key to help with this, with access to useful books and charts, and information on websites and organisations. After lunch we will go out to look for the real things. Binoculars and digital cameras could be useful, and we shall try to catch some adults and nymphs for closer views. We finish with advice on places to visit, and advice on submitting records to increase knowledge of dragonfly distribution and aid conservation. Weather dependent.
