Event details

28 June 2013 - 9:00pm - 11:00pm

Join Berks and South Bucks Bat Group member James Shipman for a stroll around Greenham Common looking for bats. This guided walk through woodlands, heaths and grassland is a lovely time to see some of the more elusive wildlife on the common and gain an insight into the fascinating world of bats. We’ll also keep an eye out for newts, glow worms and foxes.

Wear sturdy shoes, warm clothing and bring binoculars and bat detectors of you have them. Insect repellent would also be recommended.

Event organised by West Berkshire Council.

Meet: Brackenhurst Lane, Greenham Common (South of GAMA site off A339 Basingstoke Road)
