Do you have a passion for the outdoors and nature? Interested in improving your wildlife ID Skills? Come along on our conservation and wildlife ID sessions On Centenary Riverside.
The Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham are running a series of monthly wonderful wildlife events on Centenary Riverside Nature Park. Join us for a leisurely morning of practical conservation activities helping to conserve Centenary's valuable meadow, riverside and pond habitats. Followed by a wildlife ID session with our wildlife experts and Rotherham & District Ornithological Society.
Monthly events - June 26th
The June session will include a small practical task working with the willow arch and helping with Pillwort Planting in the pond followed by a wildflower ID walk with our ecologist and Wildlife Ranger.
We’ll provide Tools, refreshments and PPE. Please bring a picnic and wear suitable footwear / clothing.
