Halton and Warrington Group Walk

The largest of the Trust’s reserves, the 165 hectares at the Gowy sit at the centre of an ambitious 8,000ha Living Landscape across local river corridors and countryside. The reserve is home to a rich variety of wildflowers and breeding birds, along with occasional otters, water voles and one of the biggest selections of aquatic invertebrates anywhere in the UK. It can be very wet underfoot, and stout foorwear are recommended.

Children to be accompanied by an adult please.
