This course is aimed at those who have a basic knowledge of how their camera works, but would like to step up another level by using more advanced features and learning field craft techniques to enhance their photography.
Course tutor: Kevin Sawford
The course will cover: how to set the correct aperture to give a blurred background to your shots, how to use exposure compensation for difficult lighting situations, how positioning your subject in the frame affects the final image, how to use your camera's metering modes, how to blur moving subjects, how to use different lighting conditions to your advantage.
Tutor, Kevin Sawford, has run many courses for the Trust over the past few years and they are extrememly popular. Spaces fill very quickly, so please book early. Numbers are limited to eight so that there will be time to spend individually with each participant.
What to bring:
All camera equipment (including spare batteries, memory), packed lunch, stout footwear, weather suitable clothing, notebook and pen. Tea/coffee and biscuits included in price, but please bring any extra drinks you may want when away from the centre as much of the day will be spent out on the reserve.
