Visit this working organic farm at Houghton, Carlisle
See longhorn calves and sheep dogs working. There will be preserve making and a shearing demonstration. Guided walks are at 2.00pm and 5.00pm. Come and see this wonderful working organic farm, veg garden and orchard. There is no charge for admission, cream teas on sale £2.00. The farmland can be uneven and muddy so please wear wellies. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads.
