Join Trust Director, Peter Bullard to look at some of the rare and beautiful mountain flowers of Lakeland.

This mountain flower walk will be led by Trust Director Peter Bullard, and will go from the Kirkstone Pass up into one of the coves of Red Screes. The walk will look at some of the rare and more beautiful mountain flowers of Lakeland and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding fells. This is a strenuous walk on steep slopes and rocky terrain, suitable for those used to a day in the higher fells and requires a good head for heights. Walking boots, waterproofs, warm clothes (the coves are cold even on warm days) and a packed lunch are essential. The walk is weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice. Booking is essential and can be done by calling the Trust on 01539 816300. Further details including starting location will be sent out on booking. There is a suggested donation of £10 per person.
