Join Northumberland Wildlife Trust for a walk across the sands to Hauxley nature reserve, as part of the Amble Puffin Festival, where you’ll get a chance to check out the bird life from various hides.
Your expert will provide you with an interesting commentary on wildlife and landscapes on your journey. The terrain is rough/uneven so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The walk is 4km each way - if you prefer to walk just to Hauxley, we can provide transport back to Amble if pre-booked. Children are welcome but must be able to manage the distance.
Meet at Amble TIC next to the town square (we leave at 1.30pm prompt).
