Event details
25 May 2013 - 5:30am - 7:30am
Accompanied by an Essex Wildlife Trust Ranger you will tune your ears into a variety of birdsong from both resident and migrant species. You will also learn why certain birds choose these important habitats to build their nests and raise their young.
Afterwards we will return to the Grange Farm Centre for light refreshments including a yummy toasted teacake/muffin and a mug of tea or coffee. This activity is aimed at the complete beginner to a more intermediate level of bird watcher.
Essex Wildlife Trust is a charity and a suggested donation for this activity is £5.00 per adult / £2.00 per child (under the age of 12). Dogs are more than welcome on the walk, providing they are well behaved (including no barking), and are on a lead.
The terrain is a little uneven in places, and also has a few steady inclines. Meet at the Grange Farm Centre, Grange Farm Lane at 5.30 am.
To book your place, please call Claire on 02085003094.
Finally - Do not forget to wrap up warm and bring some binoculars!
