Event details

Greenham and Crookham Commons has a rich flora, contributing to its designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Join local ecologist Peter Creed for a stroll across the commons meadows to seek out the more unusual tiny flowers that are indicative of the short grassland across the site. BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. It will also be useful to take a hand lens if you have one and a kneeling cushion, like the lightweight garden kneelers, as you’ll be getting down regularly to look at very short flowers!
Event organised by West Berkshire Council. Booking essential. Assistance dogs only please. Minimum age: 12yrs+
