15 May 2013 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Charcoal has a multitude of uses from firing that BBQ on a summer’s day to a useful and inspiring medium for the artist. Historically, it had many other uses too and it was an important contributor to our own industrial evolution. This course will teach you all about charcoal and you will take part in making it. Activities will include stacking a kiln, controlling a burn and unloading the finished product. This course, run by GWT's Jan Kinchington is always popular, so early booking is advised.
