An early morning walk onto Torver Low Common with the Juniper project officer.
Join the Uplands for Juniper Project Officer on this walk onto Torver Low Common. The Sunny Bank juniper stand encompasses stream, mire, open fell and scrub thicket, alongside some majestic old trees. This results in a variety of birds and we’ll be hoping to enjoy singing chats, warblers, flycatchers, thrushes and perhaps even the odd cuckoo. Learn more about the Uplands for Juniper Project and the importance of these charismatic species during the walk. The 1.5 mile walk follows mostly easy to moderate terrain and there will be a stop for a cup of tea while we soak up the sounds of spring (drinks provided). Book your place by calling 01539 816300
