The round tour from from Keld to Muker via Kisdon Hill and back along the river at this time of year gives good views of the Swaledale topography which reflects the underlying layers of rocks.. With evidence of lead mining, the unique field barns, and ,weather permitting, a close view of Kisdon Force, this walk should have much of interest – we may even find fossils on the way. The walk is free but there will be a collection for Cumbria Wildlife Trust. Bring outdoor clothing and a packed lunch. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Dogs must be on leads.Organised by Upper Eden and Sedbergh Local Support Groups.
