3 November 2012 - 10:30am - 3:00pm

Nottinghamshire molluscs (slugs and snails) are not well recorded. The aim of this field visit is to add to the county records by searching some of the Trust’s reserves.

The mollusc fauna of these nature reserves is virtually unrecorded and the day cannot fail to provide worthwhile records for the Trust and who knows what surprises are waiting to be unearthed? We intend to begin at 10.30am at Bentinck Banks, Portland Park car park (SK498552). We will then move on to Teversal Pastures and if time allows we will finish with a search of Annesley Woodhouse Quarry. Please contact Chris before the event to confirm exact details.
