If you missed out on the BioBlitz in June, here's another chance to explore the woods in the company of our local experts, learning about the wealth of biodiversity found here.  During the October half-term, we'll be joining Ziggy for a foray into the fantastic world of fungi, and seeing how many different species we can find beneath the canopy of the woods. 

This event is free of charge, but places are limited.  Please contact Sarah Sidgwick at s.sidgwick@wildsheffield.com to book your place.  Meet at the Forestry Commission car park on Woodhead Road.  Please wear sturdy outdoor shoes or boots, and suitable outdoor clothing.  Children are most welcome, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
