Explore the rocky shore of Bembridge Ledges with Wildlife Trust staff. Discover more about rockpools and the amazing wildlife they support. Part of Marine Week – a national event to draw attention to marine issues and highlight our important Living Seas. Park at Lane End Car Park near Bembridge Lifeboat Station. Walk on to the beach, with the lifeboat pier to your left and walk 200 yards along the beach to your right where you will see our Marine Week Flag (Map ref. SZ 658 880). Contact Kathy Grogan 01983 760018. Donations welcomed – car park charges apply (IW Council car park). All welcome but children must be accompanied by adults. Maximum 3 children per adult. Please remember a hat, drinking water, sun screen and a net if you have one. Old shoes, sandals or wellies will protect your feet but they will get wet. Sorry, no dogs.
