10 July 2012 - 10:30am - 4:00pm

Event details

10 July 2012 - 10:30am - 4:00pm

Join renowned expert David Clarke to learn more about the dragonflies and damselflies of Drumburgh Moss.

The day will begin with an indoor classroom session, going over identification, survey methods and ecology, followed by a visit to Drumburgh to see how many species can be found.  The terrain at Drumburgh is wet and uneven, so wellies and other suitable attire are essential.  Also bring a pair of binoculars (ideally close-focusing ones) and field guide if you have them.  Please bring a packed lunch. Places are strictly limited so book early to avoid missing out. This event is free but please book your place by calling 01539 816300.
