Come along and be part of the Big Buzz in Kirkby Stephen!
Upper Eden and Sedbergh Local Support Groups are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Cumbria Wildlife Trust in style with a Garden Party at Galebars, Kirkby Stephen, courtesy of Richard and Felicity Arrowsmith. Adjoining the garden is an orchard with beehives and a hay meadow, which, like the nearby Waitby Greenriggs Nature Reserve, will be at its flowery best. Short guided walks will be made to these venues. There will be children's games and activities, a produce stall, raffle and much more. Or you can just enjoy the tea and cakes whilst listening to a string quartet made up of members of the Cobweb orchestra. Do come, rain or shine. Entry is £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for children and includes tea and cake.
