Come and enjoy a great day out with Cumbria Wildlife Trust on a sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay!
Cedric Robinson, the Queen's Guide to the Sands, will lead everyone across the sands - from Arnside to Kents Bank Station, Grange. Bring your family and friends on this exciting walk and create memories you'll never forget. Come and discover and learn about some of the Bay's wildlife. By joining us on this fun walk, you'll be helping us raise funds to protect your local wildlife. Booking is essential - visit www.cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk to book your place or call 01539 816300.There is a booking fee of £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for under 16s. Train station: Kents Bank railway station, on the Furness Line. There are various taxi companies in Grange-over-Sands - it is advised that taxis are booked well in advance. Please note that details of trains and taxis are on the booking form. The walk is suitable for all the family, but adults must be prepared to carry children when they are tired and at the crossing of the estuary. The terrain is not appropriate for pushchairs or buggies. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
