Barkbooth Lot Nature Reserve has a wealth of butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies on a species-rich acid grassland.

Medicinal leaches and glow worms also abound! The recently acquired plantation of mixed woodland boasts a wide range of woodland birds. Joe Murphy, Cumbria Wildlife Trust's Senior Reserves Officer, will be our guide. There is a suggested donation of £2.00 for adults, and free for children. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing.
