Ravenstonedale meadows

16 June 2012 - 2:00pm - 4:30pm

Event details

16 June 2012 - 2:00pm - 4:30pm

The meadows of Ravenstonedale are renowned for their wealth of flowers and some are designated Site of Special Scientific Interest status.

The walk will take us through one of these meadows as well as others which are equally interesting. The walk will be led by Margaret Albon who is managing a meadow to restore the diversity of flowers. Come and find out what is involved and compare the before and after results. There are a number of stiles on the way which may present problems to the less mobile, otherwise the walk is easy. Donations are welcomed. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing.
