Carr House Meadows with "Walking Out"

26 June 2012 - 10:00am

Event details

26 June 2012 - 10:00am

Join Sheffield WIldlife Trust and the "Walking Out" charity for a stroll around Glen Howe Park and Carr House Meadows.

Joining forces with "Walking Out", this event is a great way to experience a gentle walk through some beautiful countryside, with our ecologist on hand to tell us all about the magnificent display of wild flowers along the way.

We'll be starting at the meeting point in Sheffield Travel Interchange (Pond Street), just past WH Smith at 10am, and catching the bus out to Wharncliffe Side for a 4 mile circular walk.

All walks run by Walking Out are easy, safe and free, so it's a great way to get into walking if you haven't done so before. There will be someone to show you the way, and no need to hurry. Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes, and to bring a coat, sandwich, and a drink.
