Don't get bogged down in our 50th anniversary year!
Come and lend a hand with the management of this wonderful raised bog, which is the focus of a major habitat improvement project. Work will include a range of practical tasks, including checking on livestock, surveying and maintaining paths and boundaries. The site is very wet, with little shelter, and wellies are essential. Children are welcome. Dogs are allowed if on a lead. Please contact Lee Schofield on 01228 829574 or lees@cumbriawildlifetrust.org.uk to confirm a day or two in advance. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing and a packed lunch.
