Pick up new skills & meet new friends in our 50th anniversary year

Non-native Himalayan balsam continues to pose a problem on the River Petteril and threatens the native ground flora in Wreay Woods Nature Reserve which is one of the last remaining ancient woodlands on the River Petteril.  We need your help to assist us in our efforts to control the spread of this highly invasive plant. We will also carry out access improvement works on the footpaths and boardwalks. A marvellous opportunity to pick up new skills and to meet new friends. Booking is essential. Please contact Kevin Scott on 01228 829575. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing and a packed lunch.
