High Fell - the Cumbria landscape story

31 March 2012 (All day) - 1 July 2012 (All day)

Event details

31 March 2012 (All day) - 1 July 2012 (All day)

In our 50th anniversary year, this interactive exhibition links to Cumbria Wildlife Trust's High Fell oral history project which captures local peoples' memories of the Lakeland landscape since World War II.

The exhibition explores the changing landscape and how this has affected the county's wildlife. Memories of changes in farming, forestry, recreation and tourism have been captured by the High Fell project, along with recollections of local naturalists who have witnessed the impact of these changes on the wildlife of our county.
