This event is part of The Wildlife Trusts' Our History events, which are being held all across the UK this weekend.
Activities over 2 days include: Our Wildlife Trust History Time line display, Guided Walks at Brandon Marsh, Centenary Film showings, Memories board - for local people to add their memories, Wonderful Wildflower Sale: This is a sale of native and non-native wildflowers to plant in your garden and to benfit your local wildlife. Careful planning of wildflowers can benefit bees, butterflies, birds and lots of beneficial interest, some of which are in decline in the wild.
Help us to create a 'Living Landscape! Official opening/launch of our New Sensory Garden. The new sensory garden wll be officially opened on Saturday 19th May. The garden provides a range of sensory experiences for touch, sight, scent and sound, which is accessible to all, whatever their degree of sensitivity and mobility. The garden shows how we can look after our local wildlife by providing a range of habitats and food for a wide variety of species.
