A walk to ponds old and new in Parkhurst Forest to look for newts, tadpoles and other watery wildlife. Meet and park at the Forestry Commission public car park (Map ref. SZ 479 899). Contact Richard Grogan on 01983 760016. A family activity but children must be accompanied by adults. Maximum 3 children per adult. Wellies essential. Sorry, no dogs. No charge but donations towards our education work with children and young people would be appreciated.
