27 July 2012 - 11:00am - 12:30pm

Join Surrey Wildlife Trust Ranger John Wilsher for a guided walk at Papercourt Marshes SSSI to take a look at the wetland habitat restoration that is taking place. This is a great opportunity to see this usually restricted wetland site. Papercourt Marshes is particularly important for the ornithological interest and at least 100 bird species have been recorded here including water rail, turtle dove, great crested and little crested grebe and reed and sedge warblers. Hobbies regularly use the site and waders such as wood sandpiper have been recorded. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL, please call John Wilsher on 07799 894145 to book.
