On International Dawn Chorus Day, come and join Surrey Wildlife Trust Voluntary Warden Pete Bickford for a glorious early morning walk to enjoy the sights and sounds of Wisley Common.
Pete will teach you how to identify different bird species by their call, sight and habitat. We will walk through various habitats such as heathland and woodland to compare the different species found in each. Then join us, if you wish, for a warming cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a pastry and get the opportunity to ask Pete any questions you may have about what you have learnt. Venue location
Pond Farm, Wisley Common, Woking, Surrey, GU23 6QS. Drive up the A3 towards London from Guildford. Get onto slip road as though you are joining the M25 at J10. Stay in the left hand lane as you go down the slip road. 50 metres before the traffic lights there is a small lay-by. Immediately after this lay-by, turn left. Go through black gate and follow the track to Pond Farm.
