A guided walk around one of the largest and best wild areas within the city of Leicester.

We will be mainly be looking at the flood meadows, grazed by longhorn cattle, that support a number of rarities such as tubular-water dropwort and marsh arrowgrass. Other typical meadow species likely to be in flower at this time include meadow saxifrage, birds-foot trefoil and great burnet.
