FULLY BOOKED. Other night walks on 17th April, 20th July and 28th August.
Join us for a quiet moonlight walk around our Daneway reserves as the wildlife evening shift wakes.
A guided walk around the Siccaridge Wood and Daneway Banks nature reserves for the evening chorus. The moon will be waning and you can experience the magic of the woods as few do – after dark. We will have bat detectors, and may hear owls and other animals as they wake up to feed.
The walk takes place after sunset with minimal torchlight so it may not be
suitable for people who are unsteady on their feet. The walk takes about an hour at a slow pace, keeping quiet. The reserve is on steep and uneven ground with rough paths and stiles. There may be farm animals grazing. Please wear warm clothing and sturdy boots. If the weather has been wet, you may need wellies. Please bring a torch. There are no toilet facilities before or after the walk.
The popular Daneway Inn is nearby if you want refreshments !
