A one day intoductory course in pond design and management run by Norfolk Wildlife Services ltd in association with the Pond Conservation Trust.

Whether in a garden, on a farm or on a village green ponds  can be very valuable wildlife habitats. This one-day course is an introduction to the thinking needed for creating and managing them  for maximum nature conservation  benefits.

No prior knowledge is needed. The day will be a mixture of theory, discussion and site visits to ponds local to the venue

The course will also outline what  grant aid support is available for ponds.

Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring lunch.

A pen or pencil, writing materials and outdoor clothing suitable for walking in are also essential.
