20 October 2012 - 10:00am - 1:00pm

Event details

20 October 2012 - 10:00am - 1:00pm

FULLY BOOKED

Join us as we explore the Forest of Dean in search of its largest mammal. To seek, track, hear and see fallow deer during their rutting season.

We will follow a local wildlife photographer to gain a real insight to the deer’s natural behaviour. The walk will be slow but lengthy to ensure coverage of enough ground to find deer locations.

The ground is generally level with some surfaced rides, but we will be walking through forest brash and wet ground.

It is imperative to walk with upmost care not to create any disturbance, therefore this event is suited for adults 16 years+ only.

We will start at Speech House, Forest of Dean.
