Join us in our 50th anniversary year & help one of the largest coppice programmes in northern England!
In the beautiful setting of Howe Ridding Wood, perched on the side of Whitbarrow Scar, we will be dismantling a fence from one coppice coupe to be used on this year's coppiced area. The work is reasonably strenuous and over rough ground, so stout, outdoor footwear is essential. Bring warm clothes and waterproofs suitable for the task and a packed lunch. Booking is essential.
