The first of the NIEA's 2012 Coastal Zone - Marine Talk's Programme will be given by Dr Jade Berman, Living Seas Manager with the Ulster Wildlife Trust. Everyone is welcome.
Discover what is beneath the waves around Northern Ireland and how the Ulster Wildlife Trust is working towards safeguarding our seas.
SPEAKER PROFILE:
Dr Jade Berman is Living Seas Manager at the Ulster Wildlife Trust. She moved to Northern Ireland six months ago after finishing her PhD on sponges in New Zealand alongside running an education programme calling Experiencing Marine Reserves. Jade has worked all over the world as a scientific diver and marine biologist, from the Hebrides and Shetlands to Antarctica and Panama. She is enjoying exploring the waters around Northern Ireland and helping protect them for the future so that more people get the opportunity to enjoy them.
