The Wildlife Supporter Officer (14 hours per week)

The Wildlife Supporter Officer works directly for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to recruit long-term new members through face to face recruitment in pre-agreed areas in Yorkshire preferably close to the recruiter’s home.

The post-holder will engage with members of the public at a variety of pre-booked events and venues, including Trust nature reserves, promoting and securing new supporters for the Trust.

From time to time the post holder may be required to work at other locations at the Trust’s direction for which reasonable out of pocket expenses will be paid in accordance with Trust policy. Payment for membership recruitment will be made at a basic salary for agreed targets and a generous rate of commission for any further signings; two new memberships per day are required to cover the basic salary. Targets are set monthly based on contracted hours and performance (including recruitment less any cancellations) is subject to regular review.
