There is a pedestrian ferry service to Handa Island which runs on demand from Tarbet on the mainland during the visitor season (from early April to late August/early September in 2017). Tarbet is signposted from the A894 about 3 miles north of Scourie and 3 miles south of Laxford Bridge.The 2017 season ran from 3 April to 2 September., Scourie/ Ullapool/ Lochinver, IV27 4SS
