About the European Climate Foundation

Founded by philanthropists in 2008, The European Climate Foundation is an independent Foundation committed to creating a net-zero greenhouse gas emissions society and ensuring a liveable planet for future generations.

In collaboration with hundreds of partner organisations, The Foundation helps to activate political engagement and shapes public debate around the climate emergency by providing financial support for charities working to mitigate climate change.

How the European Climate Foundation is supporting The Wildlife Trusts

Funding from the European Climate Foundation is helping The Wildlife Trusts to create a new vision for food and farming which will allow people and nature to thrive together and help to reduce carbon emissions.

We are working with MPs, farmers and members of the public to increase understanding about the ways in which nature, farms and people can all benefit from nature-friendly farming.
