Work with us

The Wildlife Trusts is the leading UK conservation organisation for all wildlife, with an inspirational vision for the future. The 47 individual Wildlife Trusts employ more than 2,000 people – and we are always looking for passionate, dedicated and resourceful people to join us. If you have an interest in nature conservation issues and a passion for the values of The Wildlife Trusts, we would love to hear from you! Watch the film below to meet some of the lovely people who work for us. If you'd like to find out more about us, the places we've saved and what we've achieved for wildlife and people then watch this film on our history.

In 2015 we produced this film to celebrate our staff and volunteers championing wildlife, without whom our work restoring nature and habitats would be impossible. Every Wildlife Trust is run by and accountable to the local people passionate about the wildlife and wild places in their area.

Together we have a mission to create Living Landscapes, to secure Living Seas and to inspire people to value and take action for nature.

Volunteer with us

Volunteers are the foundation upon which The Wildlife Trusts movement has been built and are an integral part of the movement’s success. The work of our volunteers has helped to secure the future of many precious habitats and species, enabling them to thrive again. Opportunities range from community gardening, species surveying such as looking for otters, caring for nature reserves, dry stone walling, hedge laying, habitat management, plant identification and GPS mapping, to running Wildlife Watch groups which enable young people to discover and explore their local environment.

Being part of the Wildlife Trusts allows you to make a real difference, and we are looking for people who are willing to take responsibility and show courage and integrity. If you have a passion for inspiring people about wildlife and the environment then we look forward to hearing from you.
