The community owned Isle of Eigg is a diverse island with coastal land, farmland, willow and hazel scrub, native woodland, raised bog and moorland. Wildflowers and arctic-alpines flourish here, otters forage along the coastline and birds of prey soar high above. Seals, dolphins and minke whales are often spotted from the ferry and over 200 species of birds have been recorded on the island. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views from the Sgurr.

Wednesdays between May-August
Join our Isle of Eigg Ranger on a guided nature walk every Wednesday between May-August. Meet at 11am at the Old Shop Museum. Route is decided on the day and usually takes 3-4 hours.
Mondays between June-August
Join our Isle of Eigg Ranger on a guided summer nature walk every Monday between June-August. Route is decided on the day and usually takes 1.5 hours. Meet at 2pm at the Standing Stone at the Pier.
What to bring:
Wear outdoor boots and clothing suitable for the weather and bring drinking water, a packed lunch (Monday walks) or snacks and some curiosity!
