Mown grass paths from entrance gate through to meadow leads to wide bridge over a small stream, can be difficult terrain in places and muddy/slippery in winter

About the reserve

The reserve consists of two small meadows adjoining Hatton Wood. Tall hedges surround most of the meadows and a small beck with a gravel bed makes a dog-leg course through the meadows. There are two small ponds in the west field. Many butterflies, including some scarce species have been recorded, among which are purple and brown hairstreaks, white admiral, common blue and large skipper.
