Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a Wild about Rockpools Assistant as part of our dynamic Living Seas team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside the Youth Hostel Association at Boggle Hole, developing Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s vision for Living Seas in Yorkshire.

The Wild about Rockpools Assistant is responsible for developing and delivering a programme of marine awareness activities focussing on inspiring people to engage with the marine environment through delivery of a seashore and rockpool focussed events programme, development of a programme of active volunteering opportunities to improve public knowledge regarding the marine environment and encouraging responsible practices while using beaches (such as shore surveys and beach cleans) as well as delivery of a marine wildlife focussed talks programme for the YHA.
