Do you want to help conserve one of our most iconic species? Ulster Wildlife is seeking to employ an experienced and skilled person to deliver our Be There for Barn Owls Project.
The Barn Owl Officer will work to increase knowledge and awareness of this threatened species and to help to increase suitable habitat for the barn owl in Northern Ireland. They will work with schools and community groups, advise land owners, coordinate volunteer-led surveys and provide training for interested groups in the efforts to improve the fortunes of the barn owl in Northern Ireland.
They will also be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project including meeting project targets, managing budget and reporting to funders.
The post is based at Ulster Wildlife Offices in Crossgar, moving to new offices in Harbour Estate, Belfast in late summer 2014.
