The Wildlife Trusts (TWT)

By the 1960s, in response to the devastation of our natural habitats, Wildlife Trusts had been formed across the length and breadth of the UK to save our natural heritage for future generations.

Today there are 47 local Wildlife Trusts covering the whole of the UK, and we have more than 800,000 members. We manage thousands of nature reserves and run marine conservation projects around our coast.  We advise landowners on wildlife-friendly land management and every year we work with thousands of schools.
