Event details

27 May 2018 - 11:00am - 3:00pm

Discover the rare plants and insects living among the secluded chalk grassland of Hutchinson's Bank nature reserve

All are welcome to join the Hutchinson's Bank Open Day in New Addington, Croydon, for a chance to walk around this beautiful nature reserve, enjoy its wildlife, find out what we've been doing here and how to get involved.

There will be a chance to meet the sheep that graze the meadows and help conserve it for the many chalkland wildflowers that thrive here, plus orchid and butterfly walks guided by local group volunteers.

If you arrive at the nearby New Addington Tram Stop there will be signs directing visitors to the reserve. If you have a buggy with you or find steep slopes difficult to navigate, we suggest using the Farleigh Dean Crescent entrance instead.

Please note there are no toilets on site.
