Dungeness is one of the best examples of a shingle beach in the world, home to many uncommon plants, insects and spiders.

It is also a great place to see migratory birds in the spring and autumn. This guided walk will take in the Bird Observatory and the shingle bund. Led by Owen Leyshon.

Meet at the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway car park (opposite the Old Lighthouse, postcode TN29 9NA). OS map ref. for car park TR 089169.
