A series of courses for beginners looking at various aspects of Natural History on the Trust reserves at Portrack Marsh and Maze Park. Each course will start with a classroom session discussing some of the wildlife that can be found on these nature reserves. This will be followed by a walk around the reserves looking for wildlife, recording what we find. We will also look at how the Wildlife Trust manages the reserves for wildlife and some of the issues connected to this.

After a basic introduction, a site visit will allow participant to learn about the different wildflowers found on the site and why it is important for a number of these species.
