Join Sandwell Metropolitan Council and the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country for a volunteer day at Lightwoods Park.

Volunteers will be given the opportunity to improve a wetland habitat in the park for wildlife. No prior experience in conservation volunteering is required as training will be given by our staff.

All tools and equipment are provided as well as refreshments but please bring your own lunch. Volunteers are advised to wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy footwear (walking boots, wellington boots or ideally steel-toe capped boots).

The meeting place will be the wetland area near the skate park in Lightwoods Park.

If you would like to attend the volunteer day please contact Natalie Norton, Natalie.N@bbcwildlife.org.uk so that we can bring enough tools and equipment for the group.
