For our final environmental taster day at Moss Valley Woodlands this year, we will looking at the hows and whys of ring-barking - odd as it may seem, sometimes a dead tree is better than a living one!  Come along to find out why we are doing this, and have a go at some aspects of woodland management.

We'll be meeting at the Coalpit Wood entrance to the reserve, just off Jordanthorpe Parkways, grid reference SK 363 808.
