Help us make a real difference in our 50th anniversary year
Come along and help us to make a real difference to this important Site of Special Scientific Interest. Despite its name the site is a mixture of wet grassland and woodland. We will be working to restore areas of species-rich wet grassland that have degraded through lack of management. This will involve installing fencing and gates so that the site can be grazed with longhorn cattle from the Trust’s Gosling Sike Farm. We will also be working to restore the woodland areas by reducing the amount of non-native trees in the woodland. Booking is essential. Please call Kevin Scott on 01228 829575. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing and a packed lunch. Young people aged over 15 years are welcome.
